Details
The International Centre for Islamic Culture & Education (ICICE) is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, cultural awareness, and educational excellence within the community. They provide comprehensive Islamic education, community services, and outreach programmes that strengthen faith and build lasting connections. Through their diverse offerings, from Qur’an memorisation to community counselling, they strive to create a welcoming space where individuals and families can learn, grow, and thrive together.
The project entailed the planned expansion of the Al-Noor Mosque in Abuja, Nigeria, to accommodate 10,000 worshippers. The mosque, which previously housed 1,000, underwent a significant expansion to cater to the large number of Muslims who attend prayers, particularly during Jumu’ah and Eid. The expansion is aimed at transforming the mosque into “more than a mosque” by providing a larger space for religious activities and community gatherings.
