The project entails the planned expansion of the Al-Noor Mosque in Abuja, Nigeria, to accommodate 10,000 worshippers. The mosque, currently housing 1,000, is undergoing a significant expansion to cater to the large number of Muslims who attend prayers, particularly during Juma and Eid. The expansion is spearheaded by the International Centre for Islamic Culture and Education (ICICE) and is aimed at transforming the mosque into “more than a mosque” by providing a larger space for religious activities and community gatherings.
